Pre-entry fees - 50 mile race $70 - marathon $55 - - NO ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER OCTOBER 18.
There will be no refunds. The race is capped at 150 entrants for the marathon and 150 for the fifty. There will be no waiting list.
Proceeds to benefit Willowdale State Forest and Bradley Palmer State Park. Sanctioned by USAT&F.
All entrants will receive RaceReady Coolmax Alta Long Sleeve shirts and there will be awards for all finishers. Shirt sizes are guaranteed only for entries received by October 3.
The race start and finish will be at Doyon School 283 Linebrook Road in Ipswich. Directions: Exit 50 on I-95 and head north on Rt 1, Linebrook Rd is the third traffic light after you pass the Topsfield Fairgrounds. Turn right. Doyon School will be 1.9 miles on your right.
Heading south on Rt 1. Linebrook is the first traffic light south of Rt 133 on Rt 1 - turn left. 1.9 miles on your right is the school.
There will be three aid stations. The course is all trails, mostly double track, with some single track trail in Willowdale Forest on a 12.5 mile loop. Four loops for a fifty. The course is very runnable but has a lot of
rocks and some sections contain many roots. The terrain is rolling.
Accommodations: Comfort Inn North Shore, Danvers, MA, located 11 miles from the start of the race, is offering lodging at a special Stone Cat rate of $59/night plus tax.
Each room contains two double beds. This offer is good until Oct. 25, 2008 and is subject to a 24 hour cancellation notice. A continental breakfast is provided and arrangements
can be made for a pre-dawn breakfast on race day. Reference code "Stone Cat Race" when you make reservations - call 978-777-1700.

Waiver Must Be Read and Signed Before Mailing: I know that trail running is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter or run this event unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running in this race including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity, the conditions of the trails, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my application, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Stone Cat Trail Races, the Town of Ipswich, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. All fees are nonrefundable.
